Let meet the members of Committee on the MSP and Organic farming

First of all, I wish you to listen to this song from the Movie Hum Sath Sath Hai before coming to the subject of this blog. Just listen the first 1-2 Minutes of the song.

After knowing the details of the profile of the committee members, it is easy to presume about the outcome of this exercise. This newly formed committee has no representation from the political executive ( Minister) and Parliament ( MPs) who have the last say in any policy regarding the decision. If the government is actually committed towards the farmers' cause, there should be a committee having wider representation of the Members of parliament (specially from opposition), Standing committee chairman of Parliament on subject of Agriculture, Members of the farmer groups who opposed the three farm laws and also of the Independent young and progressive farmers.
